Your website should not be a photo album.

Smart Estate IDX puts live MLS inventory on your own site, under your own brand, with search, maps and enquiry forms that reach your CRM with the property attached. Listings stay current because they read the record, not a copy of it.

No inventory, no problem

Not holding a direct mandate does not make you less of an agent, and neither does not having a developer who takes your call. Most people in this market are held back by access to inventory rather than by skill: they can sell, they can qualify a buyer, they can close, and then they have nothing of their own to show for it.

Smart Estate IDX turns that around by bringing the inventory to you. Eligible listings from the Smart Estate MLS appear on your own website, under your own brand, kept current without you touching them, so a buyer who lands on your site has something real to look at and a reason to enquire with you.

Smart Estate IDX

MLS inventory, on your own site

A live grid of eligible listings under your brand, with price, beds, baths, floor area and location on every card. It updates when the record updates, because it is reading the record rather than a copy of it.

WordPress and non-WordPress websites

WordPress, Webflow, Wix, a custom build: if it loads HTML or reads JSON, it can show your inventory. Drop in a shortcode, or call the API and render the result yourself.

  1. Activate your licence

Subscribe through the Smart Estate portal. You get a licence key tied to your own workspace, and the connection details with it.

  2. Connect your site

On WordPress, install the Smart Estate IDX plugin and paste the key. On anything else, authenticate with the same key and call the listings API directly.

  3. Place the search

On WordPress, drop a shortcode into any page or builder. On anything else, render the JSON the API returns into your own template, in your own markup.

  4. Capture leads from day one

Search, filters, map, property pages and enquiry forms all work from the moment the key is live, and every enquiry routes to your inbox and your WhatsApp.

Eight widgets. Each one a shortcode.

On WordPress, paste one into any page or builder; the admin has a generator that sets the filters, previews the result and writes the shortcode for you. On every other stack the same eight surfaces are available through the API instead.

01

A grid of listings

Filtered however you like: by state, by LGA, by neighbourhood, by price, by property type.

02

A search bar

Drop it into a hero or a sidebar and let a buyer start from what they are actually looking for.

03

Search on a map

Buyers who think in areas rather than in filters can draw where they want to live.

04

A single property, in full

Photos, price, specifications, location and the enquiry form, on its own page.

05

An enquiry form

It reaches your CRM with the property attached, so you know what they were looking at.

06

A market snapshot

What is happening in an area, on your page, so you look like the person who knows it.

07

A buyer account

Visitors can save the properties they like and come back to them later.

08

Saved searches

Their profile and the searches they set up, kept on your site rather than somebody else's.

Turn a website into a real estate business

Most agent websites are a brochure: an About page, a phone number and three photographs of properties that sold last year. One install changes what the site is for. It arrives with inventory, with search, with a map and with enquiry forms already wired, so the same domain that was a business card becomes somewhere a buyer can actually shop. You are not waiting on a mandate to have something worth visiting.

More things Smart Estate IDX gives you

Show only the market you know

Filter the inventory down to the areas you actually work: a state, an LGA, a single neighbourhood, a price band, a property type. A visitor sees a site that specialises in exactly where they are looking, rather than a national list they have to wade through.

Look like the local expert

Put a market snapshot for your area on your own pages. Somebody deciding whether to trust you can see that you know what is happening on that street, and you did not have to compile it.

Something for Google to find

A brochure site has five pages. A site carrying live inventory has a page for every property and every area you cover, refreshed as the market moves, which is a great deal more surface for someone searching your neighbourhood to land on.

The lead is yours, and so is the commission

When a buyer finds a property on your website and enquires, that enquiry comes to you with the property attached. They are your client, you run the deal, and you earn on it.

Smart Estate IDX FAQs

Do I need a Google Maps key or a paid mapping account?

No, and this is the question people expect to go badly. The map runs on Leaflet over OpenStreetMap, which is free and needs no API key from you at all. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing extra to pay.

How many websites can I put it on?

Starter covers one site, Pro covers three and Agency covers ten. There is no unlimited tier.

I only have three listings of my own. Is IDX worth it?

That is the case it helps most. IDX puts eligible Smart Estate MLS inventory on your site, so the page has depth while your own portfolio is still small, and every enquiry on any of it comes to you.

Where do the enquiries go?

Into your CRM, with the property attached to the enquiry. That is the difference from a contact form: you know which listing the person was looking at when they decided to write to you.

Does it work with my page builder?

Yes. Every widget is a shortcode, and a shortcode drops into any WordPress editor or page builder. There is a generator in the admin that builds the shortcode for you and previews it before you paste it.

I installed this a while ago using different shortcodes. Do they still work?

Yes. Older installs using the previous shortcode names keep working, because those names resolve to the same handlers. New pages should use the current names shown above.

Put the inventory where people can search it.
